For some reason, the idea of choosing bridesmaid dresses fills me with fear and dread. I want them to be able to wear them again. I want them to be comfortable. I want them to be affordable. Too much to ask??
Oh, and I don't think I want black or brown (too formal looking for our style).
After seeing these two photos over the past few days, I think I'm going to go with the "get any dress you want in ______ (colour)" mentality.
I love how this concept looks in these two photos. It seems a bit more non-conformist and casual, just what I'm looking for.
The big question will be - what colour?! Baby steps. We'll leave that to another day.

I am telling my maids to do any dress they want in black. I did tell them that they cannot choose jersey or cotton as I am looking for a little bit more of a formal style, but they are all SOOOO excited to find their dresses, and that makes me really happy.
Same with me. After having trouble finding a dress that fit your description- I handed the task over to the ladies. But like Jenna- we're going with black as well. BTW, I saw an old vintage airplane bracelet on etsy that reminded me of your wedding :)
