I'd like to avoid having a head table at our reception (at least avoid an elevated one where we are only seated at one side of the table). I think the wedding party will be seated at round tables like the guests. This way, those in the bridal party with dates won't have to be separated from their partners.
I'd like to find a low-budget way to decorate the chairs of this table, to show other guests that it has a special significance. I think these garlands from Martha Stewart are great. They essentially deconstructed silk flowers and hot glued them into strands.
